UPDATE REGARDING SUBMISSION OF A REQUEST FOR ARBITRATION AGAINST ROMANIA WITH RESPECT TO THE "CASA RADIO" PROJECT

Further to its last announcements dated May 17, 2022, Plaza Centers N.V. ("Plaza" or the "Company") announces today that, having on May 16, 2022 issued a Request for Arbitration against Romania with respect to the "Casa Radio" project (the "Project"), on April 6, 2023 the Company filed its Memorial and supporting evidence at the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes, setting out its claims against Romania. The Company seeks full compensation for its losses with respect to the Project, currently estimated to be up to EUR 367,700,000 as at 31 March, 2023.
